At NetModX 2024, VES is collaborating with military and industry partners to take the C5ISR Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) demonstration mobile. Working alongside Abaco Systems, SCI Technology, Persistent Systems, and @Sciens Innovations, we are utilizing a field-like environment to practice solving integration challenges and refine our software requirements from operational test results. Our initiative emphasizes the implementation and adaptability of the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and Open Standards Software, integrating technologies like the Ground Vehicle Operating System (GVOS) and Tactical Assault Kit Extended (TAKX) in a layered and containerized architecture to enhance interoperability and communication among ground forces.
Featured in the testing is Brian McKenzie operating within a C5ISR-owned Stryker, showcasing the practical application of advanced systems in current military hardware. The experiment also focuses on improving data sharing and command capabilities through the Ground Combat Systems Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA). "We're grateful for the opportunity to exercise our solutions and staff in this controlled field-like environment along with the outstanding collaboration with our industry partner group," said Jim Clarke, CRO of VES. "The experience we gain and spread into our team is invaluable as we optimize our technologies and broaden our abilities to solve real-world operational challenges.
